Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited

Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (TJVCL), established on May 11, 2011 (Baishak 28, 2068) under the provision of The Companies Act,2063 of Nepal, is a public limited company aimed to exploit the hydroelectric potential within the country. The company is a joint venture company of Nepal Electricity Authority(NEA) and Nepal Doorsanchar Company limited(NDCL). After issuing generation License and conclusion of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in 2017, the company step forward to develop the Hydropower Project to pierce the current power deficiency and assist in national development.

Currently, the company is developing Upper Trishuli Hydroelectric Project (UT3B HEP). It is a run-off-river(ROR) cascade project with installed capacity of 37 MW located in Nuwakot and Rasuwa District, Bagmati province of Nepal.
